Awesome Limo Service in the DC Metro Area

Hi Gang,

Two posts in one day?  I really have too much time on my hands, lol. ;-) DC Maryland Limo Party Bus

I just wanted to give a little credit to a limo service I recently booked for an outing with a bunch of my girlfriends and their husbands.

We were all planning on going to see a Baltimore Oriole’s game up at Camden Yards.  A good friend of mine had the idea to call and see what a stretch limo or party bus would cost us to rent for the day.

There were eight couples altogether and we were all in for splitting the cost.

I gave wdclimo.com a call and they were quick to set me up with a stretch Hummer that holds up to 14 people. They’ve apparently got ones that hold up to 24… Good God!  I can only imagine…  the one we were in was HUGE and they have one that can hold 10 more people??

Anyway!

I have to say it was really, really cool.  Our driver was awesome, and we were able to just relax all the way to the game, enjoy our “adult” beverages, and just have a great time.

The limo itself was really neat.  I thought I would never get my husband out of it to go watch the game.  It had two TVs, glasses for drinks, ice, a drink cooler (we brought our own “refreshments”).  The ride was smooth, thanks to the driver, and we had plenty of room to move around and just enjoy the social setting.

So, I’m officially giving my recommendation to anyone out there that’s looking for a limo.  These guys at wdclimo.com are the best.  If you’re looking for a limo for a wedding, prom, anniversary, bachelorette party, or just a night out or sporting event like we did, you can’t go wrong with them.  I think they’re probably the best DC Limo company I’ve run across.

Cheers!

Julianna’s WakeUpNow Review

Hi All,Wake Up Now for Moms

Like I promised, I’ve set up my blog to explore options for busy Mom’s to make some extra income from home.  Today, I’m going to talk about a
company called Wake Up Now.

First off, I want to tell you that this is a network marketing company (also known as multi-level marketing), so if that type of business really turns you off, then you might not be interested in reading on.  But you you really should, given you’re already here. :-)

The company has been around since 2009 and it looks like its membership is really starting to pick up steam.

If you’re not that familiar with what an MLM company is. I’ll try to sum in up in a nutshell.

A legit MLM company sells products just like any other company, but the big difference is that instead of spending massive amounts of money on advertising, brick-and-mortar stores, etc, MLMs rely heavily (or solely) on their independent distributors to advertise and sell their products.  In return, when the distributor sells products, they get a percentage of that sale as a commission.  Most times, the distributors are also encouraged to sign on more people (additional distributors) to sell the company products, since an “upline” distributor will receive a small portion of the commissions from the products their subordinate distributors sell. Hence the multiple levels in “multi-level marketing.”

This kind of business model benefits the company in that it encourages more distributors to sign on, which equals more sales potential for the company’s products.

If you’re thinking the words “pyramid scheme” right now, you’re not unique.

The bigwigs at the top do and always will make more money than those on the lower levels.  But isn’t this true of any corporation?

You have the bigwig up top, then a few lesser bigwigs underneath, and so on until you get to the littlest guy at the bottom.

WakeUpNow

What I like about this model, and Wake Up Now in particular, is that you set your own pace and determine how much or little you’re able to put into the business.  Obviously, the more effort you put in, the more you’re going to get out of it.

What I like about Wake Up Now is that the products and benefits are useful to me right off the bat.  I’m as money-conscious as they come, so I’m always looking for deals and cheaper alternatives to buy things I need for my family.

I joined Wake Up Now (WUN) with the intent of evaluating its potential (for this blog post) and the possibility of earning a little extra income at the same time.

What I didn’t expect was the savings I found through what they call the WUN Hub.  This is a special site you get access to when you join.  It set up sort of like a search engine where you just enter the product you’re looking for and it shows what deals are available through their partnership with that company.  They have deals and discounts available for a TON of major retailers like Wal-Mart, Macy’s, Best Buy, and a bunch more.

I’ve honestly saved more than the membership costs, so that, to me has made it more than worth it.

I’m going to sign up as a distributor soon under my WakeUpNow sponsor Ken Mabry (http://mozcafe.com/wake-up-now/).

I’ve been working with Ken on a few other opportunities and he’s been very helpful and patient, and that’s SO important to someone like me that’s relatively new with marketing or selling anything on the Internet.

So, again, if you’re not shy about giving a legit, non-sleazy MLM a try, this could be a great option for you as a stay-at-home Mom or as a busy working Mom.

Cheers!

Welcome!

Welcome!  And thanks for taking the time to check out my blog!

My name is Julianna Docherty, and I’m a stay-at-home Mom.  For the past 4 years I’ve been constantly searching for the best way to make money while staying home with my growing family.

I’ve run across some shady deals and scam, but I’ve also found a few gems that have worked really well for me.

I generate an income stream from my home and online business ventures now that rivals my husband’s take-home pay from his full-time engineering job.

I’m setting up this blog to share some of the insights I’ve learned over the years and review or introduce any new opportunities that I run across.

If you’re like me, you treasure the time you’re able to spend with your kids while they’re still young.

The idea of going back to my full time accounting job just broke my heart, so I tried my hardest to find an alternative.  I was fortunate that my husband was so supportive in the beginning.  I don’t think he had too much confidence in my ability to make any significant from home–but he was a sweetheart.  He never gave me a hard time about it.

Now he’s glad he didn’t.

He’s even talking about doing the same thing and joining with me to expand the home business!

I’m excited, but I’m not sure how well we’ll work together if we’re around each other 24×7. :-)

We live in Maryland, in the Washington, DC metro area.  I’ve lived here most of my life and have really become attached.

My husband is from the midwest.  We met when he was stationed nearby at the Pentagon.

He’s out of the military now and would like to move back toward the midwest where the cost of living is a little more reasonable.  If you’re not familiar with the DC area, it’s one of the most expensive areas in the country to live.

So, my extra income and the potential for him to make even more (since he’s more of a natural at it than me) has us both really, really excited.

It makes the idea of staying in this area a LOT more palatable for him.

So, anyway.  Enough about me. :-)

I hope you’ll visit again soon.

I’ll do my best to keep posting informative and useful information over the months and years to come.

Best Wishes, Welcome, and good luck!

Julianna
